Design 280 Cirrus
In the book You Are First by Francis S. Kinney, there is a chapter entitled Fourteen Good Clients. The chapter deals with repeat clients. The one client Frank fails to mention is Avard Fuller. Seven new boats were designed by the firm for Fuller during the period 1939 - 1960. This is the first.
Cirrus was built of wood by Henry Nevins of City Island, New York, launched in 39. Heres a design review from the period.
